Happy Birthdays (Gabrielle)
January 31, 2007 by Gabrielle
Oh, I am so behind on these things. I would have liked to have done seperate Happy Birthday posts, but I am late on all of them so they’ll just have to be lumped into one big post. Shame on you all for having birthdays so close together.
To Noah on the 25th- Happy birthday, my little man! I have loved watching you change from a little baby to a three year old. You have brought much joy and trial into my life. Thank God the joy far outweighs the trial. I love you!
To my dad on the 28th- Happy birthday, Dad! I’ve enjoyed the bulk of the twenty-one years you’ve spent being my dad. And the times I didn’t enjoy were my fault. I knew when I moved away that I would miss our conversations very much. I’m glad that you kicked me hard enough to set a time to call you every week. Thank you for being my dad and being proud of me. Happy birthday!
To Raquel on the 30th- Happy birthday, my friend! When I actually wrote down my first impression of you I realized how close we were to being amiable strangers. I’m glad we let the ‘r’ slide into the word ‘fiends’.
Meep Mop Moof!
There! Now, I think you all should consider spreading your birthdays out a bit. Some of us just can’t keep up with this!
Looking back over old blog posts, this one caught my eye, and I decided to read it. Much to my surprise and delight, you used a phrase I originated; however, I regret to inform you that you mis-spelled it. The correct spelling is “meef-moff-moop”. Thanks for the publicity. :c)
Forgive me, Merrianna. I am not half as good at your private language as you. I stand corrected.
No worries, it’s quite understandable. ;c)
