In All Things… Day 5 (Gabrielle)

Today I am thankful for wind. For the wind that blows the colorful leaves down from the trees. For the wind that carries rain to dry ground. For the wind that touches my face like a friend and plays with my hair. For the wind that comes into a room and brings some of the outside with it. For the wind that blows all around me and reminds why I always wanted to fly. For breezes, zephyrs, gusts, drafts, and windstorms. For all these things I give thanks.
Our Lord, Who commands the storms and sends the winds to do Your will,
I thank You that You created wind.
I thank You that You have sent the wind to me and let me see Your beauty in it.
I thank You that You have protected us from the dangerous winds
And given us windows that open to let us enjoy the gentle winds.
May we never forget Your hand in all things.
