A Road Less Travelled

Today I am thankful for traditions and holidays that bind us together as communities. Tonight is the Night of the Burning Plum, a tradition that means nothing except to those who know and for most of us it is a powerful and moving night. Plus it’s a lot of fun. I’ve got my story all ready and I can’t wait. And as I’m laughing and feasting with my family and friends tonight I will remember that the only reason we can do this is because our Father loves us so much and wants us to be happy. May our laughter smell like sweet incense.
